Community Service Members of the Greensboro Builders Association (GBA) are active, concerned citizens who live and work in Guilford and surrounding counties. The Builders Association has been and continues to be involved in numerous ongoing community service projects. Providing affordable housing is a priority for the Greensboro Builders Association. Over the past twelve years, GBA has helped to provide more than 75 affordable homes in Greensboro. GBA councils and committees maintain an emphasis on community service…giving back and making a difference for others in our community. In 2003, GBA entered into a partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Greensboro through the Raising Roofs…Builders for Habitat initiative. GBA members to date have built 32 homes in Stonegate Crossing with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro. The GBA Remodelors™ Council has always placed a very high priority on providing community service spearheading many projects for the Builders Association. These have included projects with the Greensboro Children’s Museum; UNCG Bryan House renovation; Greenville Flood Relief; and Amy’s House….just to name a few! Join us as we give back and make a difference in other’s lives in our community! |
