Habitat for Humanity - Looking for Land
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro is experiencing
a "land crisis". Approved Habitat families have completed
200 or more hours of sweat-equity and yet we have not been able to locate
affordable land on which to build their homes. Land in Greensboro continues
to be the largest expenditure when building a home. If you can help,
Habitat officials would like to talk to you!
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro purchases land at fair appraisal
value. They do not purchase property in the floodplain and do not mediate
heirship issues. If you know of potential property, please call the
Habitat office at 275-4663.
Thank you for any help to create affordable housing in Greensboro.
