DESCRIPTION:NC DOL Safety & Health Consultation Program  \nDid You Know…NC Department of Labor offers a free safety and health consultation program to assist small employers. \nFrank Wiesner\, NC DOL Consultative Services Bureau\, will be joining us on Thursday\, June 25 at 12 noon to provide an overview of the consultation services program and answer questions you may have. Many DOL consultants are former OSHA officers so they can provide a wealth of information on safety issues and concerns for construction jobsites. \nJoin us for this informative presentation…seating is limited. RSVP by June 23. \nLunch will be provided by our sponsor: Marble Granite World \n\n  \nNC DOL Safety & Health Consultation Program Overview  \nThe Consultation Program will: \n\nProvide free on-site consultation services at your request and consent\nPerform a review of your safety program\nHelp you detect potential safety and health hazards\nAssist you with your safety and health management program\nProvide technical assistance\nAnswer your general questions about OSH Compliance\nProvide employee/employer training\nEngage your subcontractors in the Consultation Program on your jobsite\nAssist you in qualifying for recognition/exemption programs\n\nThe Consultation Program will not: \n\nIssue citations or propose penalties for violations of OSH standards\nGuarantee that any workplace will be free from all OSH violations
