See background information below…along with links to published code books.  \nCliff brings a wealth of experience and knowledge…so bring any questions regarding existing and/or new codes…along with any interpretation issues that may need clarification with local jurisdictions. \nSpecial thanks to our sponsor: Marble Granite World \nLunch will be provided…seating is limited…RSVP Below by June 2 \n\n  \nBackground Information:  \nSigned into law on March 19\, HB 47 (Disaster Recovery Act of 2025) delays the effective date for both the commercial and residential codes until 12 months after the NC Residential Code Council is set and the publication of all the NC State Building Codes. This simply means that you can apply for a permit under the current 2018 NC Codes until sometime next year…date to still be determined based on the above requirements. You can use the new 2024 NC Codes as an alternate method if you wish now. \nCode Books  \nA few of the 2024 NC Codes are now available for purchase. The 2024 NC Residential Code is still being worked on and will be available possibly later this month. DESCRIPTION:Celebrating Careers in Construction \nJoin us on Wednesday\, October 1 from 5:00 – 7:30 pm for our annual Oktoberfest hosted & sponsored by Ferguson – 305 Friendship Drive – as we kick off Careers in Construction month. \nCousins Maine Lobster\, The Pearl Kitchen and Sweet Treats of NC food trucks will be onsite…along with Gate City Growlers. Make new business connections while enjoying great food & beverages. \nTickets are $20 per person which include 1 meal ticket – 1 dessert ticket – 2 beverage coupons. \nRSVP Below with credit card payment by September 30.  Cash payment will be required at the event. \n\n
