DESCRIPTION:Little Houses Build Big Houses!  \nHabitat Greensboro’s Playhouse Project is a one-day team-building event where teams design\, build and construct durable playhouses for children of Habitat Greensboro homeowners. It is an opportunity to build creatively\, socialize with fellow GBA members\, and see the impact of your work on the very same day. Habitat provides pre-cut materials\, tools and manages the build logistics. You just bring the team and your creativity!! \nThis initiative brings together builders\, designers and industry partners for a fun\, competitive and mission-driven event that directly supports affordable homeownership in our community. \nGet your team of 8-10 started on a playhouse with a one-time donation of $2\,700. SUMMARY:Continuing Education for General Contractors
DESCRIPTION:We will be offering 6 days of continuing education this fall. \n\nSeptember 17\nOctober 1\nOctober 15\nNovember 12\nNovember 20\nNovember 30\n\nAdditional information including course information & registration will be available soon. \n  \nBackground:  North Carolina General Contractors are required to complete 8 hours of continuing education annually for license renewal. There is a 2-hour mandatory course along with 6 hours of electives required. As an approved education provider with the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors\, the Greensboro Builders Association offers CE courses\, with discounted pricing for GBA members\, throughout the year. \nYou have the option of registering for a full day (8 hours) or select different dates for morning and/or afternoon sessions. We offer a variety of topics for the electives including NC Builder Institute (NCBI) courses. \nFind additional information on our Continuing Education page. \n  \n
