DESCRIPTION:Call for Nominations \nSince 1980 we have annually recognized members for their contributions to our Association. We are seeking nominations for our 2025 Annual Awards. Nominees must be members in good standing and active within the past three years. \nBuilder Member and Associate Member of the Year are recognized for their contributions to our Association\, the building industry and the community. \nEugene Gulledge Award recognizes continuous\, outstanding contributions to the Association and the community over a long period of time. \nKavanagh Award recognizes individuals\, companies and/or organizations for their efforts in strengthening affordable housing. \nNomination deadline has been extended to March 6\, 2026. \n2025 Annual Awards Nomination Form \nGBA Annual Award Recipients 1980-2024 \n  \nSave the Date:  April 8\, 2026   \nPresentation of this year’s annual awards will be held in conjunction with our Economic & Housing Forecast featuring Dr. Robert Dietz\, NAHB Chief Economist on April 8.

DESCRIPTION:FINAL DAY to register for the 2026 Spring Parade of Homes to be held April 25-26 & May 2-3…showcasing newly constructed homes and new neighborhoods throughout the Triad. \nParade entries can be spec and/or pre-sale homes with open houses and/or virtual tour only. \n\nOpen Houses  – homes manned on Saturday & Sunday from 1-5 pm both weekends…virtual tours will also be included and posted on the website along with other promotions\nVirtual Tour Only  –  homes will NOT be open during the Parade hours…however will be profiled on the Parade website; in the Parade of Homes magazine; and on social media platforms\n\nThe final date to submit a Parade entry is March 2. \n Submit the following forms with payment by registration deadline:  \n2026 Spring Parade Participation Agreement \n2026 Spring Parade Publication Information \n2026 Parade Rendering Color Sheet \nIn addition\, we have a Coming Soon section in the Parade of Homes magazine to promote homes under construction and/or new communities forthcoming. DESCRIPTION:Do you know a student preparing for a career in construction? \nThe NCHBA Workforce Development Regional Scholarship program awards scholarships of up to $1\,000 to community college and technical school students preparing to enter the industry. \nThe NC Home Builders Educational & Charitable Foundation also awards several substantial scholarships to students entering their junior or senior year at a four-year university. \nApplications are due March 30. \n  \nNOTE: The Greensboro Builders Association also offers scholarships for skilled trades training…applications can be submitted throughout the year.
