Continuing Education for General Contractors

Need to obtain CE credit for your contractor license renewal…we have an upcoming virtual class on Thursday, February 12…electives will count toward current year renewal if you still need CE credits…while the 2026 mandatory course is required for the 2027 license renewal. We will be offering additional classes September – November.

PM212 – A Residential Code Guide to Home Building

Building a home in North Carolina can be a challenge. Between the current economic forces today…to meeting all the regulatory requirements…anyone can easily become frustrated. The intention of this course is to help navigate the building process from start to finish with as little issues as possible.

2026 Mandatory Course: Required for 2027 Renewal

A  2-hour mandatory course produced by the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors with information about changes in the laws and rules and other content applicable to general contracting.

3:15 pm – 5:15 pm  (2 hr)  Instructor: Sean Sullivan 

BT113 Foundation Waterproofing Methodology

It only takes living in a home with a leaky foundation to understand the importance of waterproofing. From structural and personal contents damage, to mold and mildew infiltration, water can turn from being your biggest asset, to your biggest liability, in a flash. This course is designed to explore the difference between damp proofing and waterproofing, the different types of waterproofing systems, how the applications are applied, and what might be the most appropriate application for your project.
