Construction Careers Committee

Our Workforce Development & Construction Careers Committee quarterly meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 17 at 3:30 pm at the GBA Office. Our agenda includes reviewing current workforce development initiatives promoting construction careers and skilled trades training…as well as brainstorming new initiatives working with middle, high school and college students.

Volunteers are needed periodically to assist with:

• Classroom visits
• Participate in Career Fairs
• Host students to job sites
• Mentor students
• Provide job shadowing and internships
• Donate materials & tools

We also have planning teams focused on:

• Casino Night
• Scholarships
