Greensboro Grasshoppers: PMi Jersey Night

On Saturday, August 13, the Greensboro Grasshoppers players and coaches will literally give the shirts off their backs to support Habitat Greensboro and GBA’s Raising Roofs…Builders for Habitat build. This is the 18th year that Pest Management Systems (PMi) has sponsored a special Jersey night at the ballpark with proceeds supporting Raising Roofs.
This year’s Star Wars-themed, game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off to fans. Click for Online Bidding which begins Tuesday, August 9 and continue through the game. Tickets to the game can be purchased online by clicking here.

Background Information:
Raising Roofs…Builders for Habitat is a collaboration between the Greensboro Builders Association and Habitat Greensboro. With donations of time, money, and materials, GBA members been able to construct 64 homes since our initial build in 2003. Builders, trade contractors, and suppliers generously donate time and materials to make Raising Roofs a huge success each year.
Sixty-four Habitat Greensboro homes mean 64 families have the critical foundation that supports a family’s health, education, and financial well-being. Habitat Greensboro partners with each homeowner as they work toward owning their home. Habitat’s vision is simple, a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
This fall, we will begin construction of our 65th Habitat home as part of our Raising Roofs…Builders for Habitat initiative…as we also celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Greensboro Builders Association.
