The Greensboro Builders Association has numerous ways for members and their employees to get involved. We encourage you to consider joining one of our committees or councils. It’s a great way to network with others, increase your business contacts and company exposure while helping the Association continue to grow and better serve our members.
Associates Council
Provide marketing, networking and educational opportunities for Associate members. Plans special membership events including Associates Expo.
Builders Council
Provide educational programs, information sharing and networking opportunities for Builder members. Task forces are formed as needed to address industry specific issues or concerns.
Build PAC
Coordinates annual marketing and fund raising initiatives for NC Build PAC.
Community Service
Coordinates community service projects and opportunities for member involvement. Works in partnership with other community organizations with emphasis on affordable housing. Conducts Raising Roofs…Builders for Habitat and ReBuilding Hope builds and renovations.
Construction Careers
Focus on promoting career opportunities within the construction industry, working with Guilford County Schools; GTCC and other community organizations working to address workforce development needs.
Finance
Serves as financial advisors for the Association. Prepares annual budget and conducts quarterly financial review.
Golf Tournament
Plans and implements spring and fall golf tournaments providing marketing, networking and fellowship events for GBA members.
Membership
Serves as information and connection resource for GBA members. Assists with membership development, retention and participation activities.
Parade of Homes
Plans and implements scattered site new home tours. Provides an opportunity for builders to market new construction showcasing the latest construction technologies, products and services to area consumers.
Skeet Tournament
Plans and implements spring and fall sporting clay tournaments providing marketing, networking and fellowship events for GBA members
Special Events
Volunteers are needed to periodically assist with membership meetings and other GBA sponsored events.
Tour of Remodeled Homes
Sponsored by the Remodelers Council, plans and implements scattered site tour of remodeled homes. Provides annual opportunity for remodelers to showcase professional remodeling and renovation projects.
TREBIC
Monitors issues that relate to the Guilford County building industry. Serves as forum for education and policy discussion. Task forces are formed on an as-needed basis to address emerging, local issues.
Young Professionals
Plans and implements networking, educational and family events for Young Professional members
